Thanks to Elaine Benoit, Precision BioLogic Inc, for the heads-up on this announcement. Geo.
The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) is pleased to announce that the World Bleeding Disorders Registry (WBDR) will GO LIVE on January 26, 2018. This date will mark the first patient enrolled in the registry – which leaves just 9,999 more to go to meet our 5-year goal!
The WFH is proud to partner with the Karolinska Institute and Health Solutions Inc. for the development of the WBDR. The WBDR is the only global registry collecting standardized clinical data on people with hemophilia from around the world, and will ultimately improve the quality and access to care for all people living with hemophilia.
The success of the WBDR depends on the valuable involvement and support from hemophilia treatment centres (HTC), national member organizations (NMOs) and people with hemophilia from around the world. Hemophilia treaters and treatment centres interested in participating in the WBDR should contact [email protected]. People with hemophilia interested in taking part in this initiative should speak with their doctor or HTC.
