THSNA 2022 Summit Update
Greetings Colleagues!

The combination of patient surges and staffing shortages has created an unprecedented strain on the healthcare system. In light of this, the THSNA Board of Directors has decided to postpone THSNA 2022 until August 25th-27th with the pre-conference workshops now occurring on August 24th. As much as we had hoped to proceed with THSNA at the end of March, we believe it is unconscionable to expect care professionals to take time off to attend a conference during these unprecedented times. We are optimistic this postponement will allow us to host the conference during a more normal period when a greater number of our colleagues will be able to join us in-person.

In addition to moving the summit to this August, we will also offer THSNA meeting registrants the option of remote attendance via live streams of all talk sessions, followed by on-demand access to recordings of all sessions for both live and virtual attendees.  While we hope that everyone will be able to join us in-person this August, offering THSNA 2022 in hybrid format will ensure that anyone wishing to attend THSNA will be able to do so in some fashion. The on-demand access will also provide our live attendees with access to more of the meeting and the opportunity to view sessions again. Registration will be the same for live and remote attendance.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION 

All existing meeting registrations will be transferred to the August meeting automatically. If you have not yet registered for the meeting, you may continue to do so via the thsna.orgwebsite. Until February 1st, any registrants who are no longer able to attend THSNA in August may cancel their registration for a full refund.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION 

All existing abstract submissions will be transferred to the August meeting automatically. If you have not yet submitted an abstract for the meeting, you may continue to do so via the thsna.org website until Friday, April 29. While abstract oral presentations (short talks) will only be offered to in-person attendees, poster presentations may either be in-person or remote/virtual.

HOTEL/LODGING

Attendees who made reservations at the Sheraton Grand Chicago in the THSNA block will have their reservation automatically cancelled. Once the new hotel reservations link is available, we will share it with attendees so that you may re-book your stay for the August meeting. Attendees who did not book through conference hotel must contact their hotel/lodging directly to cancel reservations.

FLIGHT/TRAVEL

Most airlines permit date changes to flight reservations without any fees. Please contact your travel agent or airline directly to discuss changes to your flight reservation.
