I received this delightful message from Elizabeth Varga yesterday, and although her purpose was primarily to update our links to NATT from www.nattinfo.org towww.stoptheclot.org, I wanted to use this opportunity to draw attention to NATT and their excellent educational work. I’m happy to see Elizabeth is still involved and that NATT is going strong. Geo.
Dear George: It has been a while (2003 I think) since we last had contact. My name is Elizabeth Varga (probably Hellmann when we met) and I am a genetic counselor in Ohio. We met at the stakeholders meeting at CDC in August 2003, the meeting that laid the foundation for the formation of the National Alliance for Thrombosis and Thrombophilia (NATT).
I am currently serving on the Board of NATT and also Chair the Education and Communications Committees. It has been very exciting to be a part of NATT’s evolution! As you may know, we now have our first staff thanks to some seed funding, and have also started working to improve our educational offerings. For the past several months we have been overhauling our website to include more content related to these “Stop the Clot” Education projects. We have also changed our domain name fromwww.nattinfo.org, to the more user friendly version of www.stoptheclot.org.
We were searching through Yahoo and Google to see who links to us, and several references to your site came up! Apparently a lot of people are directed to us through you…and for that we can’t thank you enough! We are trying to ensure that Google and Yahoo identifies NATT as a resource, and therefore we want to make sure that anyone linking to us uses our current domain name. Therefore, I was wondering if you could be so kind as to change your link from www.nattinfo.org to www.stoptheclot.org. I am not sure if you can change this in one place only, or if you will need to change it on each page that links to us. People have found us through the pages listed below from your site:

If you would be so kind as to change these links, that would be great! Also, I am so impressed with your site! I am ashamed to say that I was not aware of it before, but it is a great resource
