On November 4 I had the pleasure of meeting Timothy Amukele, MD, PhD, Fellow in International Clinical Laboratory Medicine and member of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Dr Amukele is affiliated with Pathologists Overseas, a non-government agency formed in 1991 to help improve and provide affordable pathology services to under-served patients worldwide through volunteer efforts of pathologists and technologists, primarily from the United States and Canada.
Dr. Amukele had requested, and Precision BioLogic provided several sets of our audio modules for distribution in Uganda, where he is currently serving. Dr. Amukele is an interesting and dedicated scientist, and we are delighted to assist his efforts in Uganda, Eritrea, and several under-resourced countries.
