Choosing Wisely Recommendations 11-7-22

Ten new Choosing Wisely recommendations [tap or click] were released Monday, November 7, 2022. The recommendations, a collaboration of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science, American Society for Clinical Pathology, and American Society for Microbiology are the latest recommendations that ensure patients receive the right testing at the right time while reducing the number of unnecessary tests and treatments. The list includes an ASCP recommendation about the appropriate use of the PT/INR and an ASCLS recommendation about DOAC reversal.
