From Dave McGlasson: It is with great sadness that I hear the news of the passing of Bob Malia from Sheffield in the UK. RG Malia was a “clotters clotter.” He was a highly skilled technologist, teacher and researcher in the area of Haemostasis and Thrombosis. He also was my friend. Bob and I always got together to “down a few” and discuss the world at the major international meetings. Many a memorable evening was spent with the gentleman who had one of the most incredible laughs and a great personality. He was the principle author or co-author for many journal articles for over 30 years. He will be missed by the entire community for his knowledge and incredible wit.
