Here is a response from Robyn Coleman: We would reject any sample for testing that showed fibrin strands in a citrate tube , though I acknowledge the practical experience as well, you can often get results from these samples that seem reasonable. We would recollect to get results we could safely report but the results from the “bad” sample may influence how urgently you may do that.
