George is posting this survey invitation as a courtesy to the Ottawa Blood Disease center and encourages all physician Fritsma Factor participants to join the survey:

Hello,

You are being asked to participate in a research survey* that we have developed. Physician members from a variety of associations in Canada, the United States and Europe will be asked to participate. The questions from this survey* pertain to the management of bleeding complications in the setting of direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) use. The survey* will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and will include questions regarding demographic information, knowledge of DOAC pharmacokinetics and laboratory assessment of DOAC anticoagulation status, knowledge surrounding the assessment and management of DOAC-associated life-threatening bleeding, as well as opinions surrounding DOAC-associated life-threatening bleeding.

The entire study will last approximately 5 months. Your participation in the study will end after you have completed the survey. You might find the survey tiring. You do not have to answer any questions that make you uncomfortable. Your participation in this study is voluntary. The alternative to this study is not to participate. All the information is anonymous. You can withdraw from the study at any time however, once you have submitted the survey, the information cannot be removed. All study-related information will be kept for 10 years after termination of study.
