Educational Modules
Jun 9, 2015 12:13pm

A nice note from Dr. Nilia M. Madan, Program Coordinator & Professor, Clinical Laboratory Science Program, Miami Dade College, Medical Campus. I have visited some of the modules and find them very informative and useful. I would like to have permission to use some of the material for my lectures when I teach Coagulation. Please let me know if that is possible.  Thanks.

Hello, Dr. Madan, and thank you for using our educational modules. We have 36 modules that address all the basics and several advanced hemostasis topiics, and I encourage you and all our subscribers to use them in your classrooms or to assign them as individual lessons. Additionally, each module is reproduced as a 2-per-page and a 6-per-page handout that you and your students may find helpful.

Recently I collaborated with Precision BioLogic's Elaine Benoit and Jim DeMase on a webinar, "Improving Acute Care with Mixing Studies," available free of charge from the Precision BioLogic Inc. web site through Friday, June 12. This is a one-hour presentation on what turns out to be a provocative topic that affects everyone in tertiary care and community facilities. Please be sure to access and download it before it is taken down.
